This is how it all started…
Traffic in Tarlac began as a minor inconvenience, something people shrugged off on their daily commute. But as the days passed, the roads grew heavier with vehicles, especially along the main highways and busy intersections. Jeepneys lingered longer than expected, buses competed for space, and motorcycles wove through narrow gaps, all while private cars inched forward under the relentless heat.
As rush hour set in, congestion spread from the city center to nearby towns. Drivers grew impatient as traffic lights seemed slower, intersections more crowded, and side streets clogged with rerouted vehicles. Vendors lined the roads, pedestrians crossed wherever they could, and the constant sound of horns filled the air. Road repairs and unexpected bottlenecks only added to the delays, turning short trips into long waits.
Despite the chaos, life in Tarlac continued. Commuters adapted their schedules, drivers searched for alternate routes, and conversations about traffic became part of everyday life. What once was an occasional problem had become a shared experience an ongoing challenge that shaped how people moved, worked, and lived in the province.
